NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1969, No. 22.
  2. The land described in the Second Schedule is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
  3. This notice is issued in replacement of the notice referred to in the First Schedule, which is hereby revoked.

Maori Land Development Notice

WHEREAS by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto the lands referred to in those notices are subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas by subsequent orders of the Maori Land Court the appellations of these lands have been changed and they are now known by the description set out in the Second Schedule; and whereas it is therefore desired to replace the notices aforesaid by a further notice referring to the lands under the current appellation:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

NOTICE is given that, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of the district.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block VIII, Russell Survey District, and described as follows:

0 3 38 Ngaiotonga J. (Wahitapu) (formerly Whangaroa Ngaiotonga 4F 1).

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

NOTICE is given that, pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a burial ground or wahitapu for the common use of the Maori people.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District, and described as follows:
