Waimea Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Waimea Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964* (hereinafter called “the principal licence”) as follows:

  1. In clause 2 of the principal licence, after the words “in the First Schedule hereto”, the words “and also to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the First Schedule hereto” are hereby inserted.

  2. In the First Schedule to the principal licence the following heading and paragraph are hereby inserted

“LINES AUTHORISED

“A line commencing from a point on Boundary Road approximately 28 chains south-east of Waimea Road and proceeding thence in a generally easterly direction across the Grampians and Brook Street to the eastern boundary of the Nelson City Councils’ area of supply, with a branch line commencing from a point approximately 8 chains north-east of Grampian Hill Trig. and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally to a television transmitter building in Block IV, Waimea Survey District; the said lines being more particularly delineated by means of red lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 795 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”

The Taranaki Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968, Amendment No. 2

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Taranaki Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968*, as amended by the Taranaki Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968, Amendment No. 1 (Gazette, 26 September 1968, p. 1637), as follows:

  1. In clause 2 of the said licence, after the words “in the First Schedule hereto”, the words “and also to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the First Schedule hereto” are hereby inserted.

  2. The heading “Line Authorised” is hereby deleted from the First Schedule and the heading “Lines Authorised” is inserted in its place.

  3. The number “1” is hereby inserted before the paragraph beginning “A line commencing”, as inserted in the said licence by the Taranaki Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968, Amendment No. 1, and the following new paragraph is inserted in the First Schedule after that paragraph:

“2. A line commencing from the New Zealand Electricity Department’s substation at Huirangi and proceeding in a generally easterly direction to the western boundary of the Taranaki Electric Power Board; such line being more particularly shown, coloured blue, on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 794 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington”.
