At the Government House at Wellington this 8th day of December 1969

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Tauranga County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that portion of road containing 3 roods 31.2 perches situated in Block V, Aongatete Survey District, adjoining or passing through part Lot 2, D.P. 37248, and Allotments 194, 266, and part 190, Apata Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23769 (S.O. 43838) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

Adding Land to the Arthur’s Pass National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of December 1969

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Arthur’s Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Arthur’s Pass National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

SECTION 70, Town of Arthur’s Pass, situated in Block VI, Bealey Survey District: area, 21.6 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 6305.)

Control of Massey High School

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of December 1969

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 54 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O R D E R

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Massey High School Board of Governors Order 1969.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1970.

  2. There shall be a Board of Governors for Massey High School which shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Auckland Education Board;
    (b) Eight members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
    (c) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

  3. The Henderson High School Board of Governors shall cease to control Massey High School and the sole control of the school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this order.
