MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

Some indeterminate date, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council makes a special rate of decimal nought one two five of a cent (.0125c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

Passed at a meeting of Council held on 4 February 1969.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Housing (Kotuku Flats) Additional Loan 1968 of $100,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing (Kotuku Flats) Additional Loan 1968 of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the additional cost of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people and rental units for the public, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four of a cent (.004c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 3rd day of February 1969.

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Marshland Riding Works Loan 1968—$12,500

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimairi County Council held on 30 January 1969:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:

‘That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,500 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of road reconstruction and kerbing and channelling construction on a portion of Mairehau Road, the Waimairi County Council makes a special rate of 0.0248c (cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value, on the basis of capital value, of all rateable property in the Marshland Riding of the county; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring charge during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.’”

Papanui Riding Works Loan 1968, $19,500

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Waimairi County Council held on 30 January 1969:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:

‘That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $19,500 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of road reconstruction and kerbing and channelling construction on Grimseys Road between Prestons Road and Farquhars Road and also on Mororangi Crescent, the Waimairi County Council makes a special rate of 0.0233c (cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value, on the basis of capital value, of all rateable property in the Papanui Riding of the county; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring charge during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.’”

Wellington City Housing Loan (Newtown Park Flats, Stage II) 1968, of $853,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eight hundred and fifty-three thousand dollars ($853,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Loan (Newtown Park Flats, Stage II) 1968 of $853,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting public rental flats, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three four of a cent (.034c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1969—$340,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $340,000 to be known as the Renewal Loan 1969 authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying at maturity those portions of the Reservoir Loan 1957, $524,000, and Renewal Loan No. 2, 1963, $40,000, which mature on 1 March 1969 the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one eight six one cents (.1861c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 10 years or until such loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 3rd day of February 1969.
