Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure
In the matter of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that application has been made by The Deacons' Court of Waverley Presbyterian Church Invercargill for consent to a public hall licence for the basement premises commonly known as Wilsons Hall.
The property is on the south side of Herbert Street, Invercargill. The property is situated at No. 499 Herbert Street, Invercargill, and is located in the residential "A" zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land situated in the City of Invercargill, containing 2 roods, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 3952, being also part of Section 34, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 165, folio 19, Southland Registry.
Special conditions, restrictions, or provisions proposed for the application: to restrict the use as a public hall to an average of one evening function per calendar month.
The application may be examined at the office of the Invercargill City Council, Tay Street, Invercargill, during normal office hours; and any person or body affected may object to the application, by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Invercargill City Council, P.O. Box 906, Invercargill, not later than 4 p.m. on the 20th day of January 1970.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

CARTERTON FIRE BOARD
SECURITY FOR LOAN
Fire Appliance Loan No. 2, 1969—$11,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Carterton Fire Board hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purposes of providing annual charges on a loan of $11,800 authorised to be raised by the Carterton Fire Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a new fire appliance, the said Carterton Fire Board permanently appropriates and pledges as security its revenue during the currency of the said loan; and it shall be payable half-yearly, on the 1st day of December and the 1st day of June of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Carterton Fire Board on 29 October 1969.
