LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand dollars ($23,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0144c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on 17 November 1969.

CITY OF PORIRUA

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Porirua City Approved District Scheme Confirmed with Approved Change

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Porirua was confirmed, with change No. 3, by resolution of the Council of the said city, passed at a meeting held on 19 November 1969, there being no objections lodged against the said change.

The Council has also resolved that the district scheme, with the change incorporated therein, shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 1969.

Copies of the district scheme as confirmed, with the said change, have been deposited in the Council’s offices, Hagley Street, Porirua, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when that office is open to the public.

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.
