Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act, 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—GERALDINE COUNTY

PART Reserve 2758 situated in Block VIII, Orari Survey District: area, 3 acres 1 rood 14.3 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1226A3 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 11305).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of November 1969.

Authorising Wellington Harbour Board to Reclaim Land in Wellington Harbour

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 20th day of October 1969

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 185 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington Harbour Board to reclaim from Wellington Harbour, in the Thorndon Wharf development, an area of 6.24 acres, more or less; as shown, coloured solid red, on plan M.D. 13542 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington: provided that the construction of the reclamation is carried out in accordance with plan marked M.D. 13542 and in the manner prescribed by the said Act; the work authorised by this order to be completed within a period of 3 years from the date of this order.
