RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

General Property Purchase and Site Improvement Loan 1969,
of $200,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 12th day of November 1969:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the General Property Purchase and Site Improvement Loan 1969, of $200,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property and improving sites, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one of a cent (.01c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

GOLDEN BAY COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Golden Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges for a loan of $10,000 authorised to be raised by the Golden Bay County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a dwelling and property, the said Golden Bay County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.072 (nought decimal nought seven two) cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Takaka Riding of the Golden Bay County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August 1968 and thereafter in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution of the Golden Bay County Council passed by the Council on the 12th day of November 1969.

CENTRAL CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

EXTRACT from the minutes of proceedings of the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at a meeting of such Board held on Tuesday, 11 November 1969:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $400,000 to be known as the Administrative Office Building Loan 1968 authorised to be raised by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the cost of constructing administrative offices at Hornby, the said Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of five eighty-fourths (5/84) of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District, comprising the whole of the Counties of Ellesmere, Akaroa, Wairewa, Mount Herbert, Malvern, and Tawera, part of the Borough of Lyttelton, and parts of the Counties of Paparua and Heathcote; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of December in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of, and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at the meeting written above.

CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969, $26,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clifton County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $26,000 authorised to be raised by the Clifton County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Clifton County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five six nine three two cents (.056932c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Clifton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 22nd day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
