The Traffic (Eketahuna Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Eketahuna Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Eketahuna Borough) Notice 1968, dated the 12th day of February 1968†, which relates to roads in Eketahuna Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Eketahuna Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Alfredton Road to the southern boundary of Eketahuna Borough, and from the northern boundary of Eketahuna Borough to a point 1 chain measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Macara Street).

Cullen Street.

High Street (from Cullen Street to Simpson Street).

Septimus Street (from High Street to the western boundary of Eketahuna Borough).

Stanley Street (from Cullen Street to Simpson Street).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Eketahuna Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from a point 1 chain measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Macara Street to a point 33 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Macara Street).

The Traffic (Horowhenua County) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Horowhenua County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The road and area specified in the First Schedule hereto, with the exception of the roads specified in the Second Schedule, are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Horowhenua County) Notice 1968, dated the 14th day of November 1968†, which relates to Waikanae Township, in Horowhenua County, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Waikanae County Town, in Horowhenua County:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 3 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Te Moana Road to a point 5 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Ngaio Road).

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikanae County Town, in Horowhenua County:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from the southern end of the Waikanae River Bridge to a point 3 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Te Moana Road; and from Hemi Street to a point 5 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Ngaio Road).

Te Moana Road (from a point 5 chains measured easterly generally along the said road from Rauparaha Street to a point 8 chains measured south-easterly generally along Te Moana Road from Greenaway Road).

Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve
