Agreement for Grant of Easement in Favour of Rose Patricia
Higgins, of Nelson, Married Woman, over Land Situated in
Block XVI, Moutere Survey District, City of Nelson, Held
for a State Primary School, Assented to

WHEREAS by a Declaration dated the 10th day of August 1969,
published in the Gazette of 4 September 1969, Volume III,
page 1665, all that piece of land containing 5.2 perches, being
part Section 61, Block XVI, Moutere Survey District, as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
M.O.W. 23440 (S.O. 10753) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue,
was taken for a State primary school;

And whereas Rose Patricia Higgins, of Nelson, married
woman, was entitled to compensation in respect of her interest
in the said land;

And whereas the Minister of Works has agreed to grant to
the said Rose Patricia Higgins a right of way over all that
piece of land situated in the City of Nelson containing 8.2
perches, being part Lot 1, D.P. 2931, being part Section 61,
City of Nelson, as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked M.O.W. 23440 (S.O. 10753) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured orange, in full compensation of the aforesaid;

And whereas the said Rose Patricia Higgins has agreed to
accept such grant of right of way in full satisfaction of the
said compensation;

Now, therefore, the Minister of Works hereby gives notice,
pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he
assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

The Motor Launch (Lake Rotoma) Notice 1969—Department
of Internal Affairs

PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, the Minister
of Marine hereby gives the following notice:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake
   Rotoma) Notice 1969.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its
publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force for a
period of 5 years after that date.

2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule
   hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations
   1962 shall not apply to the area described in the First Schedule
   hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water at the south-eastern end of Lake
Rotoma within 200 yd of the edge of the water and bounded
on the sides by parallel lines 150 yd apart, the south-western
boundary being extended in a 303° true direction from an
orange and black painted post on the shore approximately 100
yd north-east of the boat launching site.
