Appointment of Ship Cove and Queen Charlotte Sound Reserves Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Ship Cove and Queen Charlotte Sound Reserves Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for recreation purposes, until the 9th day of August 1973.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Ellesmere County Council to be the Chamberlains Ford Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

Reserve 5262 (formerly part old Selwyn River bed, part Reserve 2654, Lot 1, D.P. 26361, and part Lot 1, D.P. 5029, being part R.S. 5582) situated in Block XI, Leeston Survey District: area, 14 acres, more or less (S.O. Plan 11004L).

Appointment of Temporary Magistrate

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Magistrates’ Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

John Hector Luxford, Esq.

of Auckland, to be a Stipendiary Magistrate, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, to hold and exercise the duties of this office for a period of 12 months from and inclusive of the 15th day of October 1969.

Licensing Todd Motor Industries Ltd. to Erect and Use Electric Lines

———

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses Todd Motor Industries Ltd., of Petone, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

  2. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a) and (j) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. The system of supply classified under paragraph (j) shall be of three-phase four-wire system with a generating voltage of 250 V between phases and a frequency of 200 cycles per second.

  3. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the expiration of a period of 21 years from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ELECTRIC lines commencing from the switchboard in the licensee’s factory building, situated in Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and part Lot 19, and then proceeding underground across McKenzie Street to the licensee’s other building, situated in Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

All being situated on D.P. 10134, being part Section 2, Hutt District, in the Borough of Petone; as shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 784 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
