Appointments, Promotion, Adjustment to Seniority, Extensions of Commissions, Extension of Age for Retirement, and Transfer of Officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force

PURSUANT to Section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotion, adjustment to seniority, extensions of commissions, extension of age for retirement, and transfer of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Promotion
Pilot Officer Douglas Norman Wiklund (83336) to be Flying Officer, with seniority and effect from 12 September 1969.
Extension of Commission
Signals Division
Flight Lieutenant Raymond Turner (75893) is granted an extension of his short-service commission, with effect from 15 September 1969, for a period to expire on 31 December 1972, to be followed by 4 years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
Transfer
Flight Lieutenant Ian Grant Brausch (80647) is transferred, with effect from 25 July 1969, from the Reserve of Air Force Officers to the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority from 25 November 1968. He is granted an extension of his short-service commission, with effect from 25 July 1969, for a period to expire on 24 July 1977, followed by 4 years on the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
TECHNICAL BRANCH
Appointment
Engineer Division
Officer Cadet (u) Nicholas John Mosby (80828) is granted a permanent commission in the Technical Branch (Engineer Division), Regular Air Force. He is appointed in the rank of Flying Officer, with seniority and effect from 1 January 1969.
Extension of Age for Retirement
Wing Commander Albert Ernest Chapman, M.B.E. (70391), is granted an extension of his age for retirement for a period to expire on 30 April 1972.
EDUCATION BRANCH
Extension of Commission
Flight Lieutenant Reginald Mason, GRAD.I.E.D. (76978), is granted a further extension of his short-service commission for a period to expire on 30 September 1970, with effect from 14 September 1969.
MEDICAL BRANCH
Appointment
Flight Lieutenant Harold John Beecher Guy, B.MED.SC., M.B., CH.B. (U.OTAGO) (82952), to be Temporary Squadron Leader, with effect from 17 August 1969.
Flight Lieutenant Ronald Graham Grant, M.B., CH.B. (U.OTAGO) (83680), to be Temporary Squadron Leader, with effect from 13 September 1969.
WOMEN’S ROYAL NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE
Adjustment of Seniority
The seniority of Assistant Section Officer Barbara Boyd Miller (82008), published in the Gazette, No. 12, dated 27 February 1969, p. 366, is hereby adjusted to date from 15 January 1968.
RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS
Transfer
Group Captain John William Gordon McDougall, M.B., B.S., D.P.H. (U.DURH.), D.T.M. AND H., D.I.H., R.C.P. (LOND.), R.C.S. ENG., Q.H.P. (133670) is transferred from the Medical Branch, Regular Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period to expire on 2 July 1971, with effect from 23 October 1969.
