Land Taken for Street and for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Street in the City of Napier

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Napier as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of October 1969.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
Land for Street
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District, City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:

SECOND SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
Land for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Street
ALL that piece of land containing 0.3 perches situated in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District, City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lot 2, D.P. 4705, part Suburban Section 53, Meeanee; coloured orange, edged orange, on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23573 (S.O. 5926) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of October 1969.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of Street at Upper Hutt

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Upper Hutt City Council, and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

Situated in Block I, Rimutaka Survey District, City of Upper Hutt (S.O. 27732).
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 23775, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of October 1969.
