Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and, further, hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block III, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Schedules hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the Sixth Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29: and, further, declares that the road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, shall vest in Stewart Gordon Weir, of Taihape, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 678823, Wellington Land Registry; that the road described in the said Third Schedule, when closed, shall vest in Charles Henry Transom, of Utiku, cartage contractor, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 234874 and 720341, both Wellington Land Registry; and that the road described in the said Fourth Schedule, when closed, and the land described in the said Sixth Schedule, when taken, shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 15A/267, recorded in register book No. C. 1/632, held by Neville Charles Transom, of Utiku, farmer, from Her Majesty the Queen, subject to memorandum of mortgage No. 720340, Wellington Land Registry.
