KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1969, $30,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Kaikoura County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 02c in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property comprised in the whole of the County of Kaikoura; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Grey County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Grey County Council under the above-mentioned Act for advances to farmers under the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Grey County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 000632c upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the County of Grey; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

WESTPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Westport Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $67,000 authorised to be raised by the Westport Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of upgrading the municipal abattoir and erecting a staff house, the said Westport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal eight four nine of a cent (.849c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Westport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Westport Borough Council at a meeting held on the 29th day of September 1969.

TEMUKA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Domain Swimming Pool Loan 1969β$13,000
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, etc., the Temuka Borough Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of $13,000 authorised to be raised by the Temuka Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the additional costs of constructing a swimming pool and associated buildings in the Temuka Domain, the Temuka Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.12c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all property within the Borough of Temuka; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, until the loan is fully paid off."

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL
Otamatea County Town Water Supply Loan 1969
PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Otamatea County Town (Otamatea Riding), taken on the 20th day of September 1969, on the proposal of the above-mentioned local authority to raise a loan of $40,000, to be known as the Otamatea Water Supply Loan 1969, for the purpose of providing a water supply for the Otamatea County Town, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .... 188 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was ... 62 The number of informal votes was ... nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL
PURSUANT to section 13 (2) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Waihi, taken on the 27th day of September 1969, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $11,000, to be known as the Housing Loan 1969, for the purpose of staff housing, resulted as follows:
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 124 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was ... 233 The number of informal votes was ... 6
I therefore declare that the proposal was lost.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
THE FOOTE ADOPTION ACT
NOTICE is hereby given that Jean Catherine Leigh Foote, of Christchurch, married woman, intends to apply for leave to bring in a Bill intituled "An Act to give to an interim order of adoption made on the 13th day of October 1964 in favour of Leslie David Foote and Jean Catherine Leigh Foote as adopting parents of Douglas James Foote force and effect as if it had been a final order of adoption made on the same day", the object of which is to declare that the interim order of adoption, made by the Magistrate's Court at Christchurch on the 13th day of October 1964 on the application of Leslie David Foote (since deceased) and Jean Catherine Leigh Foote to adopt Douglas James Foote, shall operate, and for all purposes be deemed always to have operated, as a final order of adoption.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of Messrs Ralph Thompson Shaw Atkinson and Rea, 168-170 Hereford Street, Christchurch, to which communications or notices to the promoter may be sent.
