TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP PORTION OF SERVICE LANE AND TO TAKE LAND FOR SERVICE LANE

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Taumarunui Borough Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the creation of a service lane; and, for the purpose of such public work, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be closed, and the land described in the Second Schedule is required to be taken for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a street.

A plan of the land required to be closed and the land to be taken, as aforesaid, lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council, Huia Street, Taumarunui.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, who have any objections to this proposal, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Huia Street, Taumarunui.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Piopiotea Survey District, described as follows:

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Reconstruction Loan 1969, $230,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $230,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-mentioned Act for reconstructing streets and incidentals thereto, together with developing of tip for disposal of surplus excavated materials, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one two one nought eight cents (.12108c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Property Development Loan 1968, $70,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing parking, access, and services for commercial sites, to be leased to private developers, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three four two nought one cents (.034201c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Redemption Loan No. 61, 1969, $361,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $361,500, authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balance of a loan raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewer-age undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority in terms of section 43 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and the rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, 20, and 24 years from 1 October 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off."
