Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in
Block III, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Schedules hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the Seventh Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection (6) of the said section 29: and, further, declares that the road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, and the first three areas of land described in the said Seventh Schedule, when taken, shall vest in the Public Trustee; that the road described in the said Third Schedule, when closed, and the fourth and fifth areas of land described in the said Seventh Schedule, when taken, shall vest in Frank Transom, of Taoroa, farm manager, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 435021 and 435022, both Wellington Land Registry; that the road described in the said Fourth Schedule, when closed, and the sixth area of land described in the said Seventh Schedule, when taken, shall vest in Myrtle Eileen Sullivan, of Utiku, widow; that the road described in the said Fifth Schedule, when closed, shall vest in David Walter Douglas Gibbs, of Ohutu, farmer, and Andrew Cyril O'Connor, of Taihape, solicitor (jointly, inter se), and John Chisholm Belk, of Ohutu, farmer, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 465215 and 465216, both Wellington Land Registry; and that the road described in the said Sixth Schedule, when closed, shall vest in John James McCartin, of Utiku, farm manager.
