Declaring Land in the North Auckland Land District, Vested
in the Auckland Education Board as a Site for a School,
to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested
in the Auckland Education Board as a site for a school, shall
be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from
every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all
leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at
the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—MANUREWA PARISH
PARTS Allotment 74, Manurewa Parish, situated in Block IX,
Otahuhu Survey District: area, 2 acres 3 roods 8 perches,
more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 570, folio 198.
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1224 deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at
Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 46259.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
25th day of September 1969.

Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an
area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site for a
school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every educational trust affecting the same,
but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements
affecting the same at the date hereof.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—ELLESMERE COUNTY
PART Rural Section 4694 situated in Block XI, Leeston Survey
District: area, 2 roods 6.8 perches, more or less. Part certificate
of title, Volume 414, folio 133, limited as to parcels. As shown
on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1226A1 deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and
thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 11244.)

At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of
September 1969

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. The amounts to be paid by the uniting local authorities
    to the Fire Board of the Palmerston North United Urban Fire
    District, pursuant to section 53 of the Fire Services Act 1949,
    shall be in the following proportions:

                                     Percent

    Palmerston North City Council ..... ..... 90
    Kairanga County Council ..... ..... 6
    Oroua County Council ..... ..... 4

  2. This order shall continue in force until the 31st day of
    March 1972.

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of
September 1969

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
Waipa County Council stopping the portion of road described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road containing 9.2 perches situated in
Block IV, Alexandra Survey District, adjoining or passing
through Lot 3, D.P. 20032; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23521 (S.O. 44011)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured green.
