Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeveloping Cathedral Square, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought four seven five (.000475) cents in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 15th day of September 1969, passed the above resolution.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of Patangata County District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 20th day of August 1969, the Patangata County district scheme as already operative is under review, and the Council has recommended that the scheme, with the changes now incorporated therein, be approved.

The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Patangata County Offices, Waipukurau, the Otane Public Library, and the Centennial Memorial Library, Waipukurau, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme, or in respect of any portion of the operative district scheme which the Council proposes to confirm without any change, may be made by way of written notice, on form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked "Objection to district scheme", and lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 5 p.m. on Monday, 10 November 1969.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk, in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL

THE FOOTE ADOPTION ACT

NOTICE is hereby given that Jean Catherine Leigh Foote, of Christchurch, married woman, intends to apply for leave to bring in a Bill intituled "An Act to give to an interim order of adoption made on the 13th day of October 1964 in favour of Leslie David Foote and Jean Catherine Leigh Foote as adopting parents of Douglas James Foote force and effect as if it had been a final order of adoption made on the same day", the object of which is to declare that the interim order of adoption, made by the Magistrate's Court at Christchurch on the 13th day of October 1964 on the application of Leslie David Foote (since deceased) and Jean Catherine Leigh Foote to adopt Douglas James Foote, shall operate, and for all purposes be deemed always to have operated, as a final order of adoption.

A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of Messrs Ralph Thompson Shaw Atkinson and Rea, 168–170 Hereford Street, Christchurch, to which communications or notices to the promoter may be sent.

ESTATE OF GOVERT TWIGHT

In the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and its amendments, and in the matter of the estate of Govert Twight, late of Napier, in New Zealand, optical mechanic, deceased:

Notice is hereby given that the Public Trustee of New Zealand, on the 11th day of September 1969, filed a Certificate in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Auckland, electing to administer the above-mentioned estate under Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realised, and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the office of the District Public Trustee at Hamilton on the 25th day of September 1969, at 11 a.m.

All creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof of debt forms may be procured at my office.
