ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 3, 1969—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellesmere County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere County Council under the above-mentioned Act for making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Ellesmere County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought two five cents (.0025c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Ellesmere; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Ellesmere County Council on the 15th day of September 1969.

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Flats Loan 1969, $11,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the above loan of $11,000 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for erecting four pensioners’ flats, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one five cents (.015c) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Morrinsville; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Loan 1969, $70,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of $70,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairoa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting an additional feeder line to Nuhaka and providing further reticulation in the Board’s district, the said Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of point nought two eight (.028) cents in the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property in the Wairoa Electric Power Board District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 30th day of September in every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wairoa Electric Power Board held on the 15th day of September 1969.

ROTORUA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Library and Theatre Extensions Loan 1969—$95,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) to be known as the Rotorua City Council Library and Theatre Extensions Loan 1969 of ninety-five thousand dollars ($95,000) authorised to be raised by the Rotorua City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the Public Library and extending and modifying the Municipal Theatre stage and auditorium, the Rotorua City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two eight five cents (.0285c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value), of all rateable property within the City of Rotorua; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Renewal Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waterworks Loan 1961, of $343,000, which matures on 9 October 1969, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0147c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Hall Loan (No. 2), 1969—$300,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting and equipping a town hall, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nought one five eight five (.0001585) cents in the dollar on the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 15th day of September 1969, passed the above resolution.
