The Traffic (Waimairi County), Notice No. 2, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 2, 1969.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 22nd day of June 1966†, which relates to Waimairi County, at Brooklands and Spencerville, is hereby revoked.

5. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 14th day of September 1966‡, which relates to Waimairi County, at Marshland, is hereby revoked.

6. So much of the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice 1968§ as relates to Harewood Road, in Waimairi County, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Waimairi County, at Brooklands, Spencerville, and at Marshland:

Harbour Road (from a point 6 chains measured westerly generally along the said road from Lower Styx Road to the eastern end of Harbour Road).

Lower Styx Road (from a point 16 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Heyders Road to a point 14 chains measured northerly generally along Lower Styx Road from Spencerville Road and from Harbour Road to a point 8 chains measured southerly generally along the said Lower Styx Road from Earlham Street).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tuapeka County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 25th day of May 1959†, which relates to Tuapeka County, at Tapanui, is hereby revoked.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (60-miles-an-hour) Notice No. 4, 1969. The roads specified in the Schedule are hereby declared to be 60-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
