Member of the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Taranaki Appointed

PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints

to be a member of the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Taranaki for a term expiring on the 31st day of March 1970.

Appointment of Customs Airports

PURSUANT to section 30 of the Customs Act 1966, the Minister of Customs hereby appoints the places described in the Schedule hereto to be Customs airports and hereby revokes all existing appointments of Customs aerodromes made under clause 3 of the Customs (Aircraft) Regulations 1935, clause 5 of the Customs (Aircraft) Regulations 1939, and section 168 of the Customs Regulations 1959.


SCHEDULE

AUCKLAND

Mangere Airport

ALL the area in the North Auckland Land District comprising 1,000 acres, more or less, being part Block IX, Otahuhu Survey District, Parish of Manurewa, known as the Auckland International Airport, and being under control of the Auckland Regional Authority.

Whenuapai Airport

ALL that area of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Base at Auckland in the North Auckland Land District comprising 620 acres, more or less, being parts Blocks VI and X, Waitemata Survey District, known as Whenuapai Airfield, and being under control of the Ministry of Defence.

CHRISTCHURCH

Harewood Airport

ALL that land situated in Blocks V, VI, and IX, Christchurch Survey District, containing 1,201 acres 2 roods 3.6 perches, more or less, being Lots 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 on a plan lodged for deposit in the Land Registry Office, Christchurch, as L.T. 23659, known as the Christchurch International Airport, and being under control of the Christchurch City Council.

WELLINGTON

Wellington Airport

ALL that land comprised in Section 53, Watts Peninsular District, Block 6, Port Nicholson Survey District, being an area of 194 acres 3 roods 12.5 perches, known as Wellington Airport, and being under the control of the Wellington Airport Authority.
