Notice of Approval of Bylaws


PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby gives notice that he approves the Manawatu County Council’s Foxton Beach Bylaws, made by Manawatu County Council at a special meeting on the 14th day of February 1956 and confirmed on the 15th day of March 1956.

The Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 4, 1969


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hutt County) Notice No. 4, 1969.

The roads and area specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Hutt County), Notice No. 4, 1968, dated the 23rd day of October 1968*, which relates to Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati Beach, Raumati South, and Raumati Road, in Hutt County, is hereby revoked.


SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hutt County:

All that area of Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati Beach, and Raumati South bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of Kapiti Road 3 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said roadside from Hurley Road; thence due north-east along a right line to the southern bank of the Waikanae River; thence westerly generally along the southern bank of the Waikanae River to the sea coast; thence southerly generally along the sea coast to the northern bank of the Whareroa Stream; thence along the said northern bank of the Whareroa Stream to a point due south of the intersection of the northern side of Poplar Avenue with the eastern side of Matai Road; thence due north along a right line to the said intersection; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the southern side of Raumati Road 3 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said road from Rimu Road; thence across Raumati Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side;


thence by a right line to the northern end of Rimu Road; thence north-westerly generally by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Kapiti Road opposite the commencing point; thence across Kapiti Road to the commencing point; the boundary of the whole area being further indicated in red on the plan TT. 4025 deposited in the Head Office of the Ministry of Transport in Wellington.

The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 6, 1969


PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 6, 1969.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 20th day of October 1964†, which relates to Marshalls Road, in Whakatane County, is hereby revoked.


SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whakatane County, adjacent to Whakatane Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from the northern boundary of Whakatane Borough to the Whakatane Board Mills railway line, a distance of approximately 32 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from the Board Mills Road).
