Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Piopiotea
Survey District, and Block I, Maungaku Survey District,
Taumarunui County, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions
of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purposes of
that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that
the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the
post office at Taumarunui and is there open for inspection;
that all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any objections to the execution of the said public work or to
the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing,
and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publi-
cation of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington;
and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this
notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of the hearing.

the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged sepia.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 16) 1969

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 16) 1969.
   (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the First
   Schedule hereto, and goods of the classes specified in the Second Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture
   of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.

3. The exemptions from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations in respect of the goods of the classes set forth in the Third
   Schedule hereto, included in the exempting notices shown in the Third Schedule, are hereby withdrawn.
