PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for public hall and athenaeum over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Notice to Make Payment of Land Tax Under the Land and Income Tax Act 1954

PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, notice is hereby given as follows:

Land tax on land held on the 31st day of March 1969 shall be due and payable in one sum, on the 7th day of October 1969, at any office of the Inland Revenue Department or at any post office with savings bank facilities.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 135—Extension of Terms of Reference for Public Inquiry into Import Duties and Import Licensing Affecting Preserved Pineapple of Tariff Item 20.06.13

  1. In notice No. 125 (New Zealand Gazette of Thursday, 21 August 1969) the Board gave notice of its intention to conduct, at the request of the Minister of Customs, a public inquiry, on Thursday, 13 November 1969, on the question of duty and import licensing in respect of canned pineapple, classified in Tariff item 20.06.13.

  2. The Board has now been requested by the Minister to extend its inquiry to cover all pineapple classified in Tariff item 20.06.13; that is, all pineapple covered by the description in Tariff heading 20.06, which reads:
    “Fruit otherwise prepared or preserved, whether or not containing added sugar or spirit”.
