Adding Land to the Fiordland National Park

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 25th day of August 1969

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a scenic reserve subject to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, shall, as from the date hereof, be added to, and form part of, the Fiordland National Park, and such land shall hereafter be subject to the provisions of the first-mentioned Act.

Appointing a Deputy to a Member of the Water Allocation Council

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint

Eric Stonyer, an officer of the Department of Agriculture as deputy to Malcolm Leitch Cameron who has replaced Russell Herman Scott, a previous departmental member of the Council, now resigned.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 14th day of August 1969.

Appointing a Member of the Water Allocation Council

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 9 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint

Malcolm Leitch Cameron, an officer of the Department of Agriculture

to be a member of the Water Allocation Council, in place of Russell Herman Scott, an officer of the Department of Agriculture, resigned, to hold office for the residue of the term for which the said Russell Herman Scott was appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 14th day of August 1969.

His Excellency the Governor-General has, pursuant to the Navy Act 1954, approved the following appointments, promotions, and terminations of appointment in the Royal New Zealand Navy:

Surgeon Lieutenant Commander M. H. Watson, released, to date 12 August 1969.

Lieutenant T. C. M. Raven, promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and reappointed, to date 30 June 1969.

Surgeon Lieutenant A. J. Newson, promoted to the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander, to date 1 August 1969.

Sub Lieutenant J. E. Greenwood, engagement extended to 3 February 1977.

Flight Lieutenant Donald Kenneth Derby, DIP.TCHG. (80716), is appointed to a career commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Equipment Division), Regular Air Force, for a period to expire on 16 April 1983, with effect from 29 July 1969.

AIR TRAINING CORPS

Appointment

Donald Richard Phibbs is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Pilot Officer for a period to expire on 20 July 1973, with seniority and effect from 21 July 1969.

Termination of Commission

The commission of Flying Officer Cecil Harold Oldham is terminated with effect from 14 June 1969.
