Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control
Purposes in Block VIII, Orahiri Survey District, Otorohanga
County

Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and
river control purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the Borough of Otorohanga from and after
the 1st day of September 1969.

Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto, together with the right of ingress and egress
created by the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation and
Empowering Act 1898, to be deemed to have been Crown land,
subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 1st day of August
1968.

City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., and being land in the
Fifth Schedule of the Wellington Harbour Board Reclamation
