Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Minister of Lands (being the Minister charged with the administration of the department of State having the control of the land of the Crown affected by this Proclamation), hereby revoke the Proclamation issued on the 30th day of January 1959*, declaring an area of land in the Clive Survey District, in the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation District, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953; as shown on plan marked I.A. 52/304 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of August 1969.

Land Taken for the Purpose of Constructing a Regional Road within the Meaning of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 in the City of Auckland and the Borough of One Tree Hill

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken, together with and subject to the restrictions and easements set out in the said Second Schedule as far as they relate to the pieces of land concerned, for the purpose of constructing a regional road within the meaning of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, and shall vest in the Auckland Regional Authority as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of September 1969.
