Inclusion of an Area in the Tauranga Electric Power District
and Definition of the Boundaries of That District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 (the approval of the Electricity Distribution Commission having been given, pursuant to the Electricity Distribution Commission Act 1967), I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Tauranga Electric Power District by including therein the area described in the First Schedule hereto; and, further, I hereby declare that the boundaries of the Tauranga Electric Power District shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Tauranga County bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 27, Puwhenua, at the easternmost corner of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along a right line between Trig. Station 27 and Trig. Station 146, Te Weraiti, at the northernmost corner of Block I, Tapapa East Survey District, to a point due west of Trig. Station 1039, Otanewainuku, in Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District; thence westerly and southerly generally along the generally southern boundary of the Tauranga Electric Power District, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1950, page 238, to the middle of the Mangorewa River, on the eastern boundary of Block IV, Rotorua Survey District, and on the southern boundary of Tauranga County; thence along that county boundary being westerly generally up the middle of the Mangorewa River and the middle of the Ohaupara Stream to the south-eastern boundary of Taumata 3A 2B; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block II, Rotorua Survey District, to its southernmost point; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 3 to a right line between the point of commencement and the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 9825, in Block V, Horohoro Survey District; thence to the point of commencement; as the said area is more particularly shown, bounded by a red line, on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 777 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block I, Katikati North Survey District, on the sea coast, known as Te Ararimu, being the south-eastern corner of part Lot 1, D.P. 28882, and proceeding generally south-easterly along the sea coast, crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets, to the north-eastern corner of Waewaehikitia 1 situated in Block IV, Waihi South Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Waewaehikitia 1, along a right line to and along the eastern boundaries of Waewaehikitia, Urupa, and Waewaehikitia No. 2B, 2A, and 3, along a right line to and along the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 8636, along a right line across No. 2 State Highway, to and along the eastern boundaries of part Lot 2 and Lots 4 and 6, D.P. 35929, Lots 15, 14, part 13, 11, and part 10, D.P. 8636, Tahunaroa 3A, and part Section 6, Block VI, Waihi South Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence due westerly to the middle of the Waitahanui River; thence southerly generally up the middle of that river to a point in line with the generally north-western boundary of Section 1A, Block II, Rotoma Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and the western boundaries of Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block II, aforesaid, to the south-western corner of the last-named section; thence due westerly to the south-eastern corner of Block IV, Rotoiti Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of that block to the northern boundary of Rotoiti 5B 1, on the boundary of Tauranga County; thence along that county boundary being westerly along the northern boundaries of Rotoiti 5B 1 and Tokerau A. 4 to Kaikokopu Road, along a right line to and again along the northern boundary of Tokerau A. 4, along the northern boundary of Tokerau A. 2 to Maniatutu Road, along a right line, to and along the northern boundaries of Tokerau A. 1B and Rotoiti 3V 2A, the northern end of Lichensteins Road, the northern boundary of part Rotoiti 3V, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Pokopoko Stream; thence northerly down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Waipapa 1D; thence westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of No. 33 State Highway; thence northerly generally along the middle of that State highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Okere 1E; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Kaituna River; thence northerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Section 1, Block XIV, Maketu Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Mangorewa River; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of that river and the middle of Ohaupara Stream to the south-eastern boundary of Taumata 3A 2B; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block II, Rotorua Survey District, to its southernmost point; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 3 to a right line between the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 9825, in Block V, Horohoro Survey District, and Trig. Station 27, Puwhenua, at the easternmost corner of Block VII, Tapapa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along that right line to Trig. Station 27; thence north-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station 146, Te Weraiti, at the northernmost corner of Block I, Tapapa East Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 909,
