The Traffic (Patea County) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Patea County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 25th day of January 1966†, which relates to Patea County, at Kakaramea, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Patea County, at Kakaramea:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth) (from a point 32 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Wilson Road to a point 15 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Wilson Road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Nelson City) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Nelson City) Notice 1968, dated the 14th day of May 1968†, which relates to Nelson City, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Nelson City:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) (from the northern boundary of Nelson City to a point 10 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Iwa Road).

Waimea Road (from a point 16 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from Boundary Road to a point 96 chains measured southerly generally along the said Waimea Road from the said Boundary Road).
