SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

  2. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of August 1969.

  3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be 10 dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 20 dollars ($20).

The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 5, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 5, 1969.

  2. The road area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 18th day of April 1967†, which relates to Whakatane County, at Ohiwa, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whakatane County, at Ohiwa:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point situated on the northern side of Ohiwa Road 60 chains measured westerly generally along the said roadside from Elizabeth Street; thence by a right line at right angles to the northern side of Ohiwa Road to the southern side of Ohiwa Road; thence easterly generally along the southern side of the said road to a point 8 chains measured easterly along the southern side of Ohiwa Road from Anne Street; thence by a right line due north across Ohiwa Road and Ocean Road to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence westerly generally along the said shore to a point due north of the commencing point; thence by a right line due south to the commencing point.

The Traffic (Gisborne City) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Gisborne City) Notice No. 1, 1969.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 28th day of May 1965†, which relates to Gisborne City, is hereby revoked.

No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) (from Tyndall Road to the southern boundary of Gisborne City).

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The Warrants under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 10th day of February 1958† and the 26th day of June 1968‡, which relate to Herbert and Maheno Township, in Waitaki County, are hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitaki County, at Herbert Township:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 8 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Domain Road to Tain Street).

SITUATED within Waitaki County, at Maheno Township:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 2 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the Maheno-Kakanui Road to a point 19 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Gifford Street).
