Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to authorise the officer in the service of the Crown being the holder for the time being of the office of Administration Officer, New Plymouth Power Station Project, Ministry of Works, New Plymouth, to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Taupo Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1965, Amendment No. 2

Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, and the approval of the Electricity Distribution Commission having been given under section 32 of the Electricity Distribution Commission Act 1967, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Taupo Borough Council Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1965* by including in the First Schedule thereto the area described in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, Taupo County, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 44, Motukino, in Block XII, Tauhara Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western boundary of part Tauhara Middle 4A 2 to the western boundary of Block XII, aforesaid; thence northerly along that boundary and the western boundaries of Blocks VIII and IV, Tauhara Survey District, to a point due west of Trig. Station F., Tiritiri, in Block III, Heruiwi Survey District; thence due easterly to the generally north-western boundary of part Kaingaroa No. 2 (State forest, Gazette, 1930, p. 2639) in Block II, Otukotara Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along that boundary, the generally north-western boundaries of part Tauhara Middle Block (State forest, Gazette, 1931, p. 3412), and Section 6, Block XII, Tauhara Survey District (State forest, Gazette, 1961, p. 179), along a right line to and along the north-western boundary of part Tauhara Middle No. 4 to the point of commencement; as the said area is shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 776 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red.

The King Country Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968, Amendment No. 1

Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, and the approval of the Electricity Distribution Commission having been given under section 32 of the Electricity Distribution Commission Act 1967, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the King Country Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1968* by deleting clause 1 from the First Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

“1. Lines and works for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within the King Country Electric Power District, as defined in the Fourth Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 20th day of September 1967, published in the Gazette on the 28th day of the same month, at page 1653, excluding all that area in the South Auckland Land District, Taupo County, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 44, Motukino, in Block XII, Tauhara Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western boundary of part Tauhara Middle 4A 2 to the western boundary of Block XII, aforesaid; thence northerly along that boundary and the western boundaries of Blocks VIII and IV, Tauhara Survey District, to a point due west of Trig. Land Held for the Use, Convenience, and Enjoyment of a Road Set Apart for the Wellington-Wairarapa Railway in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District

Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for the Wellington-Wairarapa Railway from and after the 25th day of August 1969.

All that piece of land containing 6.26 perches situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part land on D.P. 5317, being part Subdivision 14 of Section 16, Hutt District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117259 (S.O. 20992) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged sepia.
