His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Waitemata County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in Block V, Waitakere Survey District, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
1 0 39.6 Allotment S.W. 53, Karangahape Parish, and part Lot 1, D.P. 35875; coloured green on plan.
1 1 15.4 Part land on D.P. 2947; coloured green, edged green, on plan.
7 3 15.1 Part land on D.P. 3258; coloured green on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23402 (S.O. 45854) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.

(a) declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road; and
(b) stops the said road.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau and be under the control and management of the Manukau City Council.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Whereas by Order in Council dated the 11th day of November 1968, published in the Gazette of 1968, Volume III, page 2071, the waters of the Fork Stream, Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, and Lake Ohau and the waters flowing from Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, and Lake Ohau, whether in their natural channels or in artificial channels, to the points where they discharge into Lake Benmore were declared to be of national importance;
And whereas the Minister of Electricity has applied for the right to dam, use, discharge, divert, and take the said waters for the purpose of generating electricity:
Now therefore, pursuant to section 23 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to the Minister of Electricity the right to dam, use, discharge, divert, and take the said waters, as set forth in the First Schedule hereto, for the period set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, and subject to the conditions set forth in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
The rights so granted comprise the rights:
- To dam the waters of the Fork Stream in the vicinity of the place marked "A" on the plan marked M.O.W. 23405 and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
