RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Redemption Loan 1969, of $19,300

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 5th day of August 1969:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $19,300 authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Fire Station Loan 1959, of $31,000, which matures on the 3rd day of September 1969, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four cents (.04c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Henderson; that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 4 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that such special rate is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing the said loan of $19,300 and interest thereon at a rate not exceeding five and one-eighth percent (5⅛%) per annum.”

THAMES VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Loan 1969—$1,200,000

NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Thames Valley Electric-power Board, held at the Board’s offices, Te Aroha, on the 11th day of August 1969, the following resolution was passed:

“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Thames Valley Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of principal, interest, and other charges on the Reticulation Loan 1969—$1,200,000 authorised to be raised by the Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulation of the Board’s area and for the general extension and improvement of supply within that area, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought four five six one (.04561) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Thames Valley electric-power district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 20 years, or until the loan has been fully paid off.”

PIAKO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Tahuna Water Supply Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $6,000 authorised to be advanced by the Piako County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing a water reticulation scheme for the township of Tahuna, the said Piako County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two six five of a dollar ($0.0265) in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable properties contained within the Tahuna Water Supply Special Rating Area.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Piako County Council held in the Administration Buildings and Council Chambers, 35 Kenrick Street, Te Aroha, on Monday, 11 August 1969.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1969, $48,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $48,000 to be raised by the Taranaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three nought one two six cents (.030126c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property, comprising the whole of the County of Taranaki; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 4th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
