PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cook County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 1st day of February 1959†, which relates to Wainui and Okitu, in Cook County, is hereby revoked.

No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) (from a point 3 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Murphy Street to a point 32 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Moana Road).

SITUATED within Cook County, at Wainui and Okitu:

No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki-Gisborne via Te Araroa) (from a point 32 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Moana Street to a point 24 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from Douglas Street).

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitaki County) Notice No. 1, 1969.

2. The area specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 22nd day of July 1959*, which relates to Otematata Village, in Waitaki County, is hereby revoked.

All that area at Otematata Village, including the No. 83 State Highway (Pukeuri-Omarama) (from a point 8 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from East Road to a point 20 chains measured westerly generally along the said State highway from West Road), the whole area being more particularly indicated within the red border on the plan TT. 4024 deposited in the Head Office, Ministry of Transport, Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waipara County) Notice No. 3, 1969.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 8th day of December 1958†, which relates to Waikari, in Waipara County, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Waipara County) Notice 1969, dated the 20th day of January 1969‡, which relates to Waikari, in Waipara County, is hereby revoked.

No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) (from a point 9 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Waikari-Motunau Road to a point 15 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the said Waikari-Motunau Road).

Princess Street (from the No. 7 State Highway (Waipara-Greymouth via Lewis Pass) to a point 1 mile 32 chains measured westerly generally along the said street from the said highway).
