TE ANAU PEST DESTRUCTION BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan No. 1, 1967, of $10,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
amendments thereto, the Te Anau Pest Destruction Board
hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan called the Te Anau Rabbit Board Housing
Loan, No. 1, 1967, of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), authorised
to be raised by the Te Anau Pest Destruction Board under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land
and erecting houses thereon, and purchasing land with houses
thereon, and erecting buildings for storage for the use of the
Board's employees, the said Te Anau Pest Destruction Board
hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point two five
eight of a cent (.258c) per acre of all rateable property of the
Te Anau Pest Destruction District; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and be payable by equal half-yearly instalments on the
31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above is a true copy of minute at a properly constituted
special meeting of the Board, held at Te Anau on 17 June 1968.

SOUTHLAND HARBOUR BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1969—$566,400

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Southland Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan
of $566,400 authorised to be raised by the Southland Harbour
Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of Loan No. 14, 1952—
$7,779,200, and Renewal Loan No. 1, 1963—$522,400, which
mature during the year ended 30 September 1970 by conversion
and cash application, the said Southland Harbour Board hereby
makes a special rate of 0.009378 of a cent in the dollar upon
the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the South-
land Harbour District, as constituted by the Bluff Harbour
Empowering Act 1949, being part of the rate authorised by
section 8 of the Bluff Harbour Improvement Act 1952; and
that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the
30th day of June and the 30th day of December in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
25½ years or until the loan is fully paid off."

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Southland Harbour Board held on 30 July 1969.

BURIAL AND CREMATION ACT 1964

LAND DEDICATED AND OPENED AS BURIAL GROUND

IN the matter of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, notice is
hereby given by the undersigned persons, being not less than
25 adult members of the religious denomination known as
Roman Catholic, acting under section 31 of the above-entitled
Act and with the sanction of the Minister of Health, that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is dedicated and open as
a burial ground, to be used only for the burial of the members
of the said denomination. Dated this 11th day of July 1969.

All that piece or parcel of land situated in the provincial
district of Auckland containing one acre eight decimal one
perches (1A. OR. 8.1P.), more or less, being Lot 1 on a plan
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. S.
13025, being parts of Allotments 227, 228, and 37, Whaingaroa
Parish, Block VI, Karioi Survey District, being parts of the land
in certificate of title, Volume 428, folio 233, and Volume 1268,
folio 22; South Auckland Registry.

MAKERUA DRAINAGE BOARD

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the
Makerua Drainage District, taken on the 26th day of July
1969 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to
raise a loan of $30,000, to be known as the Pumping Improvements Loan 1969, for the purpose of making pumping improvements, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 135
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 159
The number of informal votes was nil.

I therefore declare the proposal rejected.

BOROUGH OF PAPAKURA

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

IN the matter of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and
in the matter of an application for consent to specified
departure under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning
Act 1953 by Stella Homes Ltd., a duly incorporated company
having its registered office at Auckland, notice is hereby given
that application has been made by Stella Homes Ltd. for
consent to a specified departure, under section 35 of the Town
and Country Planning Act 1953, to allow the property more
particularly described hereunder to be used for purposes
allowed as predominant uses under commercial "A" zoning
within the Borough of Papakura first reviewed district scheme
code of ordinances.

The property is on the corner of Jupiter Street, Tairere
Crescent, and Edinburgh Avenue, Papakura, and is located in
the residential "A" zone.

The legal description of the land is all that piece or parcel
of land containing twenty-eight decimal nine perches (28.9p.)
and thirty decimal three perches (30.3p.), more or less, being
Lots 15 and 16 respectively of subdivision of Lots 2 and 3,
Deposited Plan No. 55799, and being part of Allotments 11 and
304, Parish of Opaheke.

The application may be examined at the offices of the Papa-
kura Borough Council, Coles Crescent, Papakura, during
normal office hours, and any person or body affected may
object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the
Town Clerk, Papakura Borough Council, P.O. Box 110, Papa-
kura, not later than 4 p.m. on Thursday, 25 September 1969.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and
whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in
support of his objection.
