CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $478,000 authorised to be raised by the Christchurch
Drainage Board for the purpose of making storm-water drainage
improvements, the said Christchurch Drainage Board hereby
makes a special rate of $0.000058018 in the dollar upon the
capital rateable value of the Board’s land drainage area, as
described by a resolution of the Board dated the 22nd day of
May 1952 and as altered from time to time by resolutions of
the Board under section 59 of the Christchurch District Drain-
age Act 1951; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until
the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the
Christchurch Drainage Board held on 22 July 1969.

described by a resolution of the Board dated the 22nd day of
May 1952 and as altered from time to time by resolutions of
the Board under section 59 of the Christchurch District Drain-
age Act 1951; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years or until the
loan is fully paid off.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Inviting Proposals for Ohakune Borough District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Ohakune Borough
Council, at its meeting held on the 16th day of July 1969, has
resolved to prepare, for the Ohakune Borough, a district scheme
as required by the provisions of the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the
district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to
submit full information as to the proposals (including public
works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in
the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Ohakune District Scheme” should be
addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s
office on or before the 14th day of October 1969.

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by
Gerald Cohen, of 22 Marina Grove, Lower Hutt, for consent
to a change of use to enable him to erect three blocks of flats,
each containing three units, on the below-described property.

The property is situated at Winston Street, Crofton Downs,
and is located in the residential “A” zone.

The legal description of the land is:

All those pieces of land containing together two roods four-
teen decimal eight perches (2R. 14.8P.), being Lots 6, 7, and
8 on Deposited Plan No. 29913, Wellington Land Registry.

The application may be examined at the office of the Town
Clerk, Wellington City Corporation, during normal office hours;
and may also be examined, during normal office hours, at the
offices of the solicitors for the applicant, Messrs Lawrence and
Brill, Third Floor, Prudential Building, Lambton Quay,
Wellington. Any person or body affected may object to the
application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk,
Wellington City Corporation, P.O. Box 2199, Wellington, not
later than the 11th day of August 1969.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and
whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in
support of his objection.

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies
has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909,
by writing under his hand dated this 23rd day of July 1969,
cancelled the registry of Court Unity No. 5025, branch of the
Nelson District of the New Zealand District of Ancient Order
of Foresters Friendly Society, Register No. 4/7, held at
Havelock, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to
exist.
