The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 3, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County)
Notice No. 3, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared
to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes
of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Whakatane County, at Mapou Pa (Te Teko):
No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane) (from a point
4 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State
highway from the bridge over the Rangitaiki River to Brights
Road).

The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 4, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County)
Notice No. 4, 1969.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of
section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962
and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the
25th day of July 1967†, which relates to Whakatane County,
at Edgecumbe, is hereby revoked.

Additional Land at Helensville Taken for the purposes of the

Kaipara-Waikato Railway

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of
Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that
effect having been entered into, the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the
Kaipara-Waikato Railway from and after the 4th day of August
1969.

Change of Purpose of a Reserve and Appointment of the

Nelson Catchment Board to Control and Manage

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described
in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for recreation purposes
to a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes;
and, further, appoints the Nelson Catchment Board to control
and manage the said reserve for soil conservation and river
control purposes.

2 roods 34.9 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan

Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was
passed by the Tauranga City Council on the 10th day of
February 1969:

"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13
of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Tauranga City
Council hereby resolves that that piece of land held by the
Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said city in fee simple
and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same
is hereby declared to be, a public reserve for recreation pur-
poses within the meaning of the said Act."
