of Auckland and such parts of the suburbs and vicinity thereof
as lie within a radius of 12½ miles from a centre at the Post
Office, Jean Batten Place, Auckland, and also the districts of
the City of Manukau, of the County of Waitemata, and of the
Boroughs of Helensville and Papakura, as those districts were
constituted immediately before the passing of the Auckland Gas
Company Amendment Act 1968, so as to include also the dis-
tricts of the County of Franklin and of the Boroughs of
Waiuku, Pukekohe, and Tuakau.
The Bill is promoted by the company, whose address, to
which communications or notices may be sent, is at the offices
of Messrs Buddle Weir and Co., Solicitors, Sixth Floor,
Guardian Assurance Building, corner Queen Street and Darby
Street, Auckland 1.
A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above-
mentioned address.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
OTAKI AND PORIRUA TRUSTS AMENDMENT BILL
THE Otaki and Porirua Trusts Board, incorporated under the
Otaki and Porirua Trusts Act 1943 (Private), gives notice of
its intention to apply for leave to bring into the House of
Representatives the above-intituled Bill the objects of which are
to empower the said Board to carry on upon any of the Otaki
lands described in the Schedule of the said Act the business of
farming in all or any of its branches, to improve and develop
the said lands.
For the purposes of its farming operations on the Otaki
lands the Board may lease other lands to be used by it in
conjunction with all or any of the Otaki lands.
In respect of its farming operations, the Board may expend
any capital or income of the Board and borrow money and
mortgage or charge any of its real or personal property.
The parcel of land containing 3 roods 33.7 perches known
as the Mission Site adjacent to the Rangiatea Church and burial
ground in Rauparaha Street, Otaki, is to be vested in the
Wellington Diocesan Board of Trustees, freed of the trusts
affecting it under the principal Act, to be held on the same
trusts as those on which the Rangiatea Church and burial
ground are held.
The promoter of this Bill is the Otaki and Porirua Trusts
Board whose address for service of communications or notices
is at the offices of Messrs Martin, Evans-Scott, and Hurley, 57
Ballance Street, Wellington (P.O. Box 5055).

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
CLARKE ADOPTION BILL
RHODA MERLE CLARKE, of Alexandra, widow, hereby gives notice
of her intention to apply for leave to bring in a Bill known as
the “Clarke Adoption Bill” to the New Zealand House of
Representatives at its next sitting. The objects of the Bill are
to give to an interim order of adoption made on the 22nd
day of September 1965 in favour of Geoffrey Henry Clarke and
Rhoda Merle Clarke as adopting parents of Kevin John
Clarke such force and effect as if it had been a final order of
adoption made on the same day.
The said Rhoda Merle Clarke’s address for service is at the
offices of Messrs Baylee, Brunton, and Mitchell, Limerick
Street, Alexandra.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the
day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
NEW ZEALAND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and
1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
