The Traffic (60 Miles an Hour) Notice No. 2, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (60 Miles an Hour) Notice No. 2, 1969.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 60-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27B of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 24 chains measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North - Himatangi) to the northern boundary of Foxton Borough).

No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North - Himatangi) (from a point 32 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Carey Street at Longburn to a point 16 chains measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the bridge over Burkes Drain).

Declaration That Part of the Mount Maunganui Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation over the Said Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Mount Maunganui Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
