Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto: also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and, further, declares that the road first, secondly, thirdly, and fourthly described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, shall be incorporated in lease in perpetuity No. 699, recorded in register book, Volume 61, folio 139, Taranaki Land Registry, held by Murray James Henry Swanson, of Niho Niho, farmer, and Mary Margaret Patricia Swanson, his wife, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 143147 and 143148, Taranaki Land Registry; and that the road lastly described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, shall be added to the adjoining scenic reserve described in the Third Schedule hereto.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken in Block V, Rangitoto Survey District, Rangitikei County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second, Third, and Fourth Schedules hereto; also hereby takes the land described in the Fifth Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection (6) of the said section 29; and also declares that the road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, shall vest in G. D. Welsh Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Marton, and the road described in the said Third Schedule, when closed, and the land first described in the said Fifth Schedule, when taken, shall be incorporated in renewable lease No. 597, recorded in register book No. D. 2/1172, Wellington Land Registry, held by Robert Edward Charles Harris, of Marton, farmer, and Aileen Joan Harris, his wife, as tenants-in-common in equal shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 716236 and 716237, Wellington Land Registry.
