Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY
WESTLAND COUNTY
RESERVE 2131 (formerly part Reserve 1177), situated in Block XV, Kaniere Survey District: area, 533 acres 1 rood, more or less. (S.O. Plan 5384.)
As shown on plan No. S. 58/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 16th day of June 1969.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints, as from 10 February 1969, Basil Colmar Campbell, Esq., Director, Road Transport Division, Ministry of Transport, and Frederick Alexander Langbein, Director of Roading, Ministry of Works, to be members of the National Roads Board.

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of June 1969

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the National Roads Board, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land and portions of public highway described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that land and those portions of public highway situated in Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, Eyre County, and Block III, Christchurch Survey District, Waimairi County, Canterbury R.D., being part of the Christchurch Northern Motorway (Belfast-Pinehaven section) commencing at a point approximately 5 chains south of Neeves Road, marked “A” on the plan hereinafter mentioned, and proceeding thence in a generally southerly direction through or over Block XV, Rangiora Survey District, and through or over Block III, Christchurch Survey District, to terminate at Belfast at the point marked “B” on the said plan, being the junction of the said motorway with State Highway No. 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23300 (C.R. 94/1) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

ALL that piece of land containing 21.4 perches situated in Block XVI, Ngaruroro Survey District, Hawke’s Bay County, Hawke’s Bay R.D., being part Lot 1, D.P. 3273, being part Block 84, Maraekakaho Crown Grant District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22480 (S.O. 5754) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia, edged sepia.

Boundaries of Bay of Islands County and Kaikohe Borough Altered

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
This order shall come into force on 1 April 1970.
-
The area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be excluded from Bay of Islands County and included in Kaikohe Borough.
-
The area described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be excluded from Kaikohe Borough and included in Bay of Islands County.
-
The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and said borough, referred to in clause 2 hereof, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
-
The alteration of the boundaries of the said borough and said county, referred to in clause 3 hereof, shall be deemed to have been effected under the Counties Act 1956.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County, containing 22.7 perches, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of an area of 30 perches, more or less, declared street by New Zealand Gazette, 1965, page 1164, and shown on M.L. Plan 14453, in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly bearing 317° 54′ distance 386.98 links, bearing 328° 40′ distance 412.46 links, bearing 328° 46′ to the intersection of the last-mentioned bearing with a line bearing 324° 26′ from the point of commencement; thence south-easterly bearing 144° 26′ to the point of commencement.
