BOROUGH OF MOSGIEL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mosgiel Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $93,000 authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the construction of the sports pavilion on Memorial Park, the said Mosgiel Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two five cents (.25c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value) of the Borough of Mosgiel, comprising the whole of the Borough of Mosgiel; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 3rd day of June 1969.

SPECIAL ORDER CONSOLIDATING SPECIAL RATES

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Waihi Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, in lieu of the separate special rates made as security for the loans as set out in the Schedule hereto, the Waihi Borough Council hereby makes a consolidated special rate of 3.24c in the dollar of unimproved value of all rateable lands within the Borough of Waihi.

RHODA MERLE CLARKE, of Alexandra, widow, hereby gives notice of her intention to apply for leave to bring in a Bill known as the “Clarke Adoption Bill” to the New Zealand House of Representatives at its next sitting. The objects of the Bill are to give to an interim order of adoption made on the 22nd day of September 1965 in favour of Geoffrey Henry Clarke and Rhoda Merle Clarke as adopting parents of Kevin John Clarke such force and effect as if it had been a final order of adoption made on the same day.
The said Rhoda Merle Clarke’s address for service is at the offices of Messrs Baylee, Brunton, and Mitchell, Limerick Street, Alexandra.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
NEW ZEALAND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
These are not now available from Government Bookshops but may be obtained from the New Zealand Standards Association, Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription $10 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
