WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to staff to acquire houses, the Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0049c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $68,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making urban road improvements, the Whangarei County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.04c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Melrose Flats Loan 1969—$54,000

Resolved that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual charges on a loan of fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting flats for public rental, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council makes a special rate of decimal nought one (.01) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Completion Redemption Loan 1969—$21,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of $21,000 borrowed for roading purposes, due and payable on 24 July 1969, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one of a cent in the dollar (.01c in the $) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being for a period of eight (8) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Passed at a meeting of Council held on the 6th day of May 1969.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Public Conveniences Loan 1969—$170,000

That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $170,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing public conveniences and changing sheds in various parks and reserves and other public places, the said Waitemata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0226c in the dollar on the rateable, unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of Waitemata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan 1969, $53,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Cambridge Borough Council has resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Water Supply Redemption Loan 1969, the Cambridge Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought nine cents (.09c) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Cambridge; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or such shorter period as may be determined by the Council, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council held on the 30th day of April 1969.

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Renewal Loan No. 2, 1969, $21,900

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $21,900 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying that portion of the Waterworks Loan 1962, $437,000, maturing on 1 July 1969, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a rate of decimal nought five three cents (.053c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Morrinsville; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on 1 January and 1 July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, until the loan is fully paid off.
