A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the leasehold estate in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Struan James Bennett Munro under and by virtue of pastoral lease No. P. 145, recorded in Volume 386, folio 43, Otago Land Registry, are hereby taken for the development of water power (Aviemore power scheme).

Allocating Land Acquired for Railway Purposes at Wellsford to the Purposes of Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that the said road shall be under the control of the Rodney County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
