PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Storm-water Drainage Redemption Loan No. 8, 1969, $45,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $45,000 authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying on maturity that portion of the Storm-water Drainage Loan 1958, $58,000, which matures on 28 May 1969, the said Papatoetoe City Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought two five six five cents in the dollar (.02565c) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of Papatoetoe; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WARKWORTH TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Extension Loan 1969, $6,750

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Warkworth Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($6,750) authorised to be raised by the Warkworth Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending a minor trunk sewer into a new residential area, the said Warkworth Town Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five eight cents (.058c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Warkworth Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Warkworth Town Council held on the 26th day of May 1969.

WARKWORTH TOWN COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water Supply Improvements Loan 1969, $140,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Warkworth Town Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and forty thousand dollars ($140,000) authorised to be raised by the Warkworth Town Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving the town’s water supply, including land acquisition for a reservoir, the said Warkworth Town Council hereby makes a special rate of one decimal three cents (1.3c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Warkworth Town District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Warkworth Town Council held on the 26th day of May 1969.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellsford Sewerage Loan 1968, $233,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Rodney County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $233,000 authorised to be raised by the Rodney County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing sewerage reticulation and treatment for the County Town of Wellsford, the said Rodney County Council hereby makes a special rate of two decimal point three seven cents (2.37c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wellsford County Town, being the Wellsford Riding of the County of Rodney; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Rodney County Council, at a meeting held on 15 May 1969, passed the above resolution.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $5,000 authorised to be raised by the Marton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to ratepayers to enable them to connect their properties to the borough sewerage system, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point two one cents (.21c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Marton; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 5 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

CITY OF UPPER HUTT

RESOLUTIONS MAKING SPECIAL RATES

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Upper Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:

  1. Storm-water Drainage Loan No. 4, 1969, $50,000

“THAT, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $50,000, authorised to be raised under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of completing storm-water drainage of areas not already reticulated, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 019c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”

  1. Footpaths Construction Loan No. 5, 1969, $43,000

“THAT, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of $43,000, authorised to be raised under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of constructing permanent concrete footpaths, the said Upper Hutt City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal 020c in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Upper Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and shall be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the loan is fully repaid.”

The above resolutions were duly passed at a meeting of the Upper Hutt City Council held on the 27th day of May 1969.
