TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PARKING PLACES AND OTHER MUNICIPAL PURPOSES

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, to execute certain public works, namely, the provision of parking places and other municipal purposes; and, for the purpose of such public works, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the lands should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Willow Street, Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND OF PROPOSALS TO STOP PIECES OF ROAD

Ponga Road in the County of Franklin

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, public notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, firstly, to execute certain public works, namely, the provision of road and, for the purposes of such public works, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and, secondly, to stop, pursuant to section 148 of the Public Works Act 1928, those pieces of the said road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and of the pieces of road so proposed to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the Franklin County Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or the taking of such lands, who may wish to make any objections thereto (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), and all persons who may wish to
