Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road and Road Closed in Block XVI, Mawheraiti Survey District, and Block XIII, Waitahu Survey District, Inangahua County
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby amends the notice published in the Gazette of 6 March 1969, No. 13, at page 416, proclaiming land as road and road closed in Block XVI, Mawheraiti Survey District, and Block XIII, Waitahu Survey District, Inangahua County, by substituting the word “Nelson” for the word “Westland” wherever the said word “Westland” appears in the notice signed by the Minister of Works.

Revoking a Declaration Declaring Land Taken for a Public School in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby revokes the declaration dated the 6th day of December 1968 and published in Gazette, 16 January 1969, No. 1, page 22, taking land for a public school in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt County.

The Traffic (Thames Borough and Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1969
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames Borough and Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1969.
The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as the speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 16th day of August 1966†, as relates to Thames Borough, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Thames Borough:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipirop-Waihi via Coromandel) (from Pollen Street to the southern boundary of Thames Borough).
No. 25 State Highway (Pipirop-Waihi via Coromandel) (from Burke Street to the northern boundary of Thames Borough).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames Borough:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipirop-Waihi via Coromandel) (from Pollen Street to the southern end of the bridge over Kauaeranga River).
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames Borough and Thames County:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipirop-Waihi via Coromandel) (from a point 6 chains measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Tararu Creek Road to Burke Street).

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga City) Notice No. 1, 1969.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
The Warrants under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 21st day of February 1964† and the 20th day of March 1964‡, which relate to Tauranga City, are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Tauranga City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from the northern end of the Hairini Bridge to a point 8 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Sunset Crescent; from the north-eastern boundary of Tauranga City, on the Maungatapu Peninsula, to a point 9 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary; and from the western boundary of Tauranga City to a point 16 chains measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary).
No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) (from the southern boundary of Tauranga City to the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne)).
Cambridge Road.
Cameron Road (from the southern boundary of Tauranga City to a point 16 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said boundary).
Kaitemako Road.
Ohauiti Road.
Oropi Road (from a point 2 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Chadwick Road to the southern boundary of Tauranga City).
Poeke Road.
Ranganui Road.
Welcome Bay Road and its extension known as the new Welcome Bay Road (from the No. 29 State Highway (Tauranga-Piarere) to the eastern boundary of Tauranga City).
Waitaha Road.
