State Housing Land Set Apart for the Purposes of the Maori
Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment Act
1938, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the State housing land, within the meaning of the Housing
Act 1955, described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart
for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935.

Defining the Middle Line of the Te Maunga - Mount Maunganui
Motorway in Blocks VII and XI, Tauranga Survey District,
and a Limited Access Road in Block VII, Tauranga Survey
District, and Previous Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1947, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation
dated the 15th day of February 1961, and published in Gazette,
23 February 1961, Volume I, page 322, defining the middle line
of the Te Maunga - Mount Maunganui Motorway; and hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle line of the Te Maunga -
Mount Maunganui Motorway shall be that defined and set
forth in the First Schedule hereto, and that the middle line of a
limited access road desired to be constructed over Block VII,

Tauranga Survey District, shall be that set forth in the Second
Schedule hereto; and also declare that this Proclamation shall
affect only the lands situated within the limits of the area
shown, coloured red, on the plans marked M.O.W. 23196 (S.O.
44808, 2 sheets) and M.O.W. 23197 (S.O. 44809) referred to in
the said Schedules.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING at a point on the southern boundary of part
Section 5, Block XI, Tauranga Survey District, approximately
1,400 links north-east of the southernmost corner of that
section, and proceeding generally north-westerly for a distance
of approximately 1½ miles, passing in, into, through, or over
the following lands, namely, part Section 5, Block XI, Tauranga
Survey District (C.T. 677/265), part Section 5, Block XI,
Tauranga Survey District (D.P. 26202) (C.T. 1468/83), Lot 1,
D.P. S. 1119 (C.T. 1031/96), part Section 4, Block XI,
Tauranga Survey District (C.T. 1B/1221), Section 9, Block XI,
Tauranga Survey District (C.T. 2019/59), part Omanu No. 1
Block (C.T. 696/299), part Section 17, Block VII, Tauranga
Survey District (C.T. 946/270), and Lot 1, D.P. S. 9688 (C.T.
5A/815), all situated in Blocks XI and VII, Tauranga Survey
District; and terminating at a point on the northern side of
Hewletts Road approximately 300 links east of the south-
eastern corner of Lot 15, D.P. S. 12113, including all adjoining
and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes,
rivers, streams, and watercourses. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23196 (S.O.
44808, 2 sheets) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
COMMENCING at a point approximately 300 links east of the
south-eastern corner of Lot 15, D.P. S. 12113, and proceeding
generally north-westerly for the distance of approximately 1
mile, passing in, into, through, or over the following lands,
namely, part Whareroa 2B Block (C.T. 6A/70), Lot 3, D.P. S.
3255 (C.T. 1210/55), Lot 2, D.P. S. 793 (C.T. 1070/167), Lot
1, D.P. S. 793 (C.T. 1015/284), part Whareroa 2H 1 Block (C.T.
658/228), part Whareroa 2J 2 Block (C.T. 8c/1106), Section
79, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District (Crown land, Gazette,
1964, page 283), part Whareroa 2J 3A Block (C.T. 8D/1148),
Lot 1, D.P. S. 10396 (Crown land, S. 402414), Sections 44 and
45, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District (part Mount
