Further Extending the Duration of Licences Authorising the Tauranga Electric Power Board to Use Electric Lines within the Tauranga Electric Power District and Outer Area of Such District

———

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby amends the Orders in Council specified in the Schedule hereto, authorising the Tauranga Electric Power Board to use electric lines, by further extending the duration of the said Orders in Council until the 20th day of October 1969; the duration of the said Orders in Council having been extended until the 20th day of October 1968 by an Order in Council dated the 15th day of July 1968 and appearing in the Gazette on the 25th day of the same month, at page 1235, and the duration of the said Orders in Council having been further extended until the 20th day of April 1969 by an Order in Council dated the 21st day of October 1968 and appearing in the Gazette on the 31st day of the same month, at page 2001.

The Newlands and Paparangi Secondary Schools Notice 1969

———

PURSUANT to section 57 of the Education Act 1964 as amended by section 9 of the Education Amendment Act 1968, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice as follows.

———

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Newlands and Paparangi Secondary Schools Notice 1969.

  2. The Board of Governors for the control of the secondary school to serve Newlands and Paparangi shall be constituted as follows:

(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education Board;

(b) One member appointed by the Wellington City Corporation;

(c) One member appointed by the Council of the Victoria University of Wellington;

(d) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school:

Provided that, until the school is opened and the election of members by the parents of the pupils attending the school is held, the Minister of Education may appoint up to six persons to be members of the Board and to hold office until the members elected by the parents of the pupils assume office;

(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

Revocation of Private Hospital Licence

———

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Hospitals Act 1957, and consequent upon the death of Constance Unsworth, nurse, of Masterton, on 3 January 1969, the Minister of Health hereby revokes the licence to keep a private hospital granted to the said Constance Unsworth.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Block VII, Waitohu Survey District, Horowhenua County

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for road from and after the 2nd day of June 1969.

ALL that piece of land containing 6.9 perches situated in Block VII, Waitohu Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being part Section 1, Waitawa Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 23174 (S.O. 26693) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
